NFCC Membership

NFCC Membership

There are two types of membership – Professional Partners and Individual Members. All public UK Fire and Rescue Services (FRS) are National Fire Chiefs Council Professional Partners, represented within NFCC by their Chief Fire Officer. Professional partnership means that anyone from an FRS can access the networks, information and support to provide practical solutions to collective problems. Members are able to engage with opportunities for personal and professional development through our working groups, committees and events.

Anybody from a UK Fire and Rescue service who holds the rank of Area Manager & above, including a temporary promotion and equivalent green book roles, is eligible to be an individual member of National Fire Chiefs Council Limited.

Individual members provide the professional expertise and leadership which collectively influences the national agenda. Alongside leveraging this expertise to ensure that service get the support they need, NFCC also provides its members access to invaluable leadership opportunities which will support career progression.

NFCC membership can provide many different opportunities and advantages to those in the UK Fire and Rescue Service. If you want to learn more about being a member, you can contact us.
